Exquisite Indian Wedding At The Omni William Penn!

(Backdated November 30, 2013)
While the mother of the groom made the decor decisions independently and didn't need me to design the event, I was the Day of Coordinator. I assisted the family with all sorts of running, communicating, prepping, organizing, managing and helping so they didn't have to be distracted from their celebration.

450 guests attended this grand event! The tables had towering floral arrangements that filled the room with color and design. The pastry chef decorated the wedding cake with an elaborate fall leaf theme. The room had red, white and blue up lighting which was to symbolize the father of the groom's true love for the United States.

Dressed in traditional embellished sarees, the Indian ladies and bride danced the night away with music provided by Dj Nitin. Young girls performed Indian dances for the bride and groom and all the guests.

Baby's First Birthday Celebration!

(Backdated to November 17, 2013)

A baby's first birthday is a significant celebration! Over 100 guests joined in the festivities. With over 30 children attending, I not only designed and decorated the event but also coordinated the children's activities. I painted faces, handed out gifts and played games. We also hired a magician/balloon twister to entertain the children which was great for all ages.

The tables were dressed in blue statin cloths. The centerpieces were designed using blue colored glass, gold decor, white mum flower heads and candles. Above each table hung a tiered grouping of balloons.

The stage backdrop was hung with gold and blue brocade fabric and was illuminated by up lighting. The cake table was covered with shimmery layers of fabric. Above hung an assortment of handmade embellished paper lanterns.

Lighting provided by Pittsburgh Event Lighting.

Peacock Inspired Centerpieces Grand Opening for Microtel Inn & Suites

(Backdated to October 23, 2013)
Microtel Inn & Suites in Washington/Meadow Lands, PA selected me to design their Grand Opening Party. My designs were to look seasonal (autumn) but also have an Indian flair since the owner is from India. I supplied the satin table cloths, table centerpieces and up lighting. The photos are of the centerpiece floral designs. Each differed from the other, displaying flowers with peacock feathers and peacock birds.
